KS4 Guided Choices
Selecting options is an important part of students’ educational journey. The PowerPoint presentation and Options Booklet below outline the options process and subjects available for students to study in Years 10 and 11.
All students will have an opportunity to discuss their options and will have access to ‘taster days’ before making their final decision.
Key Dates
| Thursday 8th February 2024 | Year 9 Parents’ Evening and Options Information Presentation – A chance for parents to find out about the options process. |
| Wednesday 28th February 2024 | Pupil Assembly – students will receive their Option Booklets at this time. |
| Wednesday 28th February 2024 | Year 9 Options Taster Days – A chance for students to sample what lessons will be like in option subjects they may not have experienced in Years 7-9. |
| Friday 22nd March 2024 | Deadline to have option choices back |
| Thursday 2nd May 2024 | One-to-one meetings to confirm option choices allocated to students |

Options Presentation – Please click here for the options presentation shown to Parents during the February Parents Evening.
Options Booklet – This booklet will be given as a hard copy to students on the 28th February, along with a paper copy of this options form.
Electronic Options Form – Rather than completing the paper form, students can submit their option choices using this online form. Please do not fill in both a paper copy and an electronic copy.
